About the Foundation

Hi! I'm Doug.

You may know me as an internet sensation…after all, I have over 18 million followers worldwide and even won a People’s Choice Award! However, my mission has always been to make people smile each and every day. With having so many followers, I have gotten an overwhelming amount of messages and stories from children struggling with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. They have told me how my photos and videos help them get through the tough days, so I feel compelled to help on a much larger scale that can live on in a foundation forever.

Why the Foundation

The mission of what Doug the Pug does every day is to bring joy and happiness. Through his visits with children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases, it was only natural that Doug the Pug wanted to do more than just bring joy for a few moments. Families and children in treatment for cancer or a life-threatening illness have needs outside of medical support to maintain families, bring joy, and support for the battle they are on.

Your donation matters

Your donation will make a difference and directly impact the children and families. The Doug the Pug Foundation will assess where the greatest needs for them are and make sure funds are allocated directly for those purposes. We also partner with incredible organizations such as St. Jude to make sure your money makes the greatest impact.
